Dr. Nandika Bandara is an Assistant Professor and Canada Research Chair in Food Proteins and Bioproducts at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Bandara works on food protein processing, ingredient development, nanoencapsulation, bioactive delivery systems, and bioproduct development to address critical challenges faced by the Canadian protein industry. In addition to his primary affiliation, he is currently serving as the Associate Editor of two leading food science journals (Food Chemistry, Journal of the American Oil Chemists' Society) and serves as the Chair of the Food Chemistry Division for the Institute of Food Technologists.
