Quancai Sun

Quancai is a professor in Jiangsu University. He obtained his PhD degree from University of Massachusetts Amherst. The main research area includes food chemical pollutants and impaired glucose or lipid metabolism as well as the bioactivities of functional food ingredients and its underlying mechanisms. He has been awarded the Herbert O. Hultin Oral Competition Scholarship and the 56th society of toxicology annual meeting graduate student travel award. Quancai was awarded two projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and has published >40 SCI papers in Trends in Food Science and Technology, Critical Reviews in Food Science and Nutrition, Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Food & Function, etc. He is now the associate editor of Current research in food science, the editorial board member of Critical Reviews in Food Science and Nutrition, Food and Chemical Toxicology, and Journal of Future Foods.
