Dr. Haroon Khan is a professor at the Department of Pharmacy, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. Dr. Khan has got Ph.D. degree from the University of Peshawar in Pharmaceutical Sciences.  He has more than twenty years of experience in pharmacy teaching, research, and professional expertise in various fields of pharmaceutical sciences. His research focus is phytomedicines/pharmacology. In this connection, he has already published 374 articles including Research, Reviews, and Editorials in various national and international reputable journals.

Prof. Khan is the editorial board member of a number of journals including Associate Editor in Phytomedicine and Frontiers in Nutrition, consulting editor of Pharmacological Research, Section Editor of Current Neuropharmacology, Current Molecular Pharmacology. The scientific contributions of Dr. Khan have been acknowledged by Pakistan Council for Science and Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST), and awarded Research Productivity awards four times for the years 2011-2014. Dr. Khan has been placed in the recently published (2020 & 2021) Standford’s list of world top 2% scientists. This clearly reflects the outstanding research potential of Dr. Khan acknowledged globally.
